Our Fall Skincare Update

Over the past year we've been hard at work on this exciting update to our skincare line. We're simplifying ingredients lists, improving efficacy, and cutting down on waste. Take a peek below at what's changing.

We completely reformulated our toner from the bottom up and gave it a new name to reflect this. It's now alcohol free and has a simpler ingredient list, but still performs just as well as the old formula. We kept the White Willow Bark extract to help gently exfoliate and minimize pores and Bilberry Extract to brighten, but cut the other botanical extracts in favor of using more standardized AHA fruit acids directly. This removes the margin of error natural extracts have, as the acidity levels in each batch of extract could vary wildly and make the end product stronger/weaker than intended. Additionally, the simplification of the formula means we're able to buy fewer ingredients in larger quantities. This has helped us to avoid price increases and absorb inflation costs for our customers.

It now comes in a smaller 4 oz bottle to prevent spoilage, but is still the same price per ounce. No shrinkflation here! Due to improvements in our bulk manufacturing processes, the Revitalizing Toner is also benefiting from a price reduction in bulk like our other bulk skincare products did over the summer. Launching in a 4 fl oz retail ready bottles, and in bulk at 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon, 3 gallons, and 5 gallons.

This is not your normal balm: it's a jelly that's almost identical to petroleum jelly in texture and versatility. It's perfect for all the same uses you'd have for petroleum jelly, but it's 100% biodegradable and petroleum free. With a castor oil base, it's non comedogenic and gentle enough for even the most sensitive of skin. Perfect for all ages, head to toe, and everywhere in-between. Launching in 4 ounce retail ready jars.

Our new body and face oil is our permanent replacement for our facial oils and is a lovely touch of luxury formulated for all skin types. Olive squalane, one of our most expensive ingredients in the lab to date, is an almost identical mimic to our skin sebum for a rich dose of hydration without the greasy skin feel or breakouts. We also included Macadamia Nut Oil for its light skin feel and naturally high levels of hydrating Vitamin E to prevent rancidity and increase stability. We also added hydrating superstar Evening Primrose Oil which helps to plump and smooth without causing irritation or breakouts.

While you may be sold already, the real workhorse of The Oil is Bakuchi Oil, which naturally contains Bakuchiol, a sensitive skin friendly retinol alternative. Bakuchiol has been shown in clinical studies to help improve the appearance of fine lines, reduce acne and blemishes, and even out skin tones when used daily at a concentration of at least 0.5%. It also has an excellent safety profile and was shown to be non-irritating and non-sensitizing based on human repeat insult patch testing, has no photo or hydrolytic stability issues, and thus can be used throughout the day safely. The Oil naturally contains about 0.6% Baukchiol.

The latest addition to our face care line is this ultra-hydrating, skin-plumping Night Cream. We focused on creating a face cream that was perfect for drier skin types who need an extra boost of long lasting hydration. Hyaluronic Acid, Propanediol, and Urea work synergistically for long lasting and penetrating moisture. Luxurious and rich Argan Oil locks in hydration, while Allantoin works to soothe and protect skin. Perfect as the last step in a nightly skincare routine. Available in 4 ounce retail pump bottles, and in bulk in 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon sizes.
